Fruit-and-nut cookies



The first time I saw a date I thought it looked... weird. That encounter happened when I was old enough to know better than to judge food by its looks, so I decided to try it anyway and it was delicious - it is an ingredient I don't use very often, but definitely should. I had some dates left from making the lebkuchen and did not know what to make with them - Martha came to my rescue with these
